What's all this about?
MyFolia is dedicated to the art (and science) of gardening - from tracking your own plants, to seeing who is also growing the same things you are.

How did it start?
The idea for MyFolia came about when Nic was trying to remember what she had planted in her windowsill boxes and when she had planted them -
we had a look out for a website, or even some software that would let us track our plants easily and couldn't find anything that wasn't overly complicated, required a dodgy subscription or wasn't filled with silly banner ads.
So we decided to create our own... and we hope you will find it as useful as we do!
What the site will do (and what it won't).
We are going to be continuously developing the site - so what you see here is just the start of many of the ideas that are floating around our heads - we have some big plans for this little site!
You can instantly add any plants that you grow, no matter how weird and wonderful - you won't have to wait for us to add them in for you.
We will never clutter up the site with pesky flashing banner ads - the only advertising you will see will be (hopefully) unobtrusive and relevant to you.
We will never give your details to anyone - we hate spam as much as you do and won't give your details to anyone else.
We will always keep the core part of our site free - you won't need to pay for a membership just to keep using the site.
Who's behind this?
Well, let us introduce ourselves:
Nic says: "Hi, I'm Nic - I'm one half (the best one of course) of MyFolia. I am a software developer / interaction designer by day and a budding gardener by night (and any other time I can find). That's me in the picture by the way - I think I had found my first ladybugs on my strawberry plants. Now if only I had somewhere to journal that..."
Nath says: "Hey, Nath here - I'm the one helping Nic out with realising all the "crazy" ideas she keeps coming up with for the site. I am a software developer too (lucky for Nic), however my only claim to gardening prowess is managing to look after the pocket-size zen garden I keep on my work desk. Still, its better than nothing, and you have to start somewhere. Hope you enjoy the site!"
