I love being outdoors. It rarely gets too hot or too cold for me to spend at least a little time outside watching the birds. Only extreme cold and thunderstorms can chase me inside. I rarely miss watching the sun rise and set from my backyard. Yep, I’m that crazy bird lady down the road who is always outside doing something. I think every neighborhood has a nut. I could well be it for mine!

I love all the seasons and the unique beauty each brings. Like most gardeners, I live for spring and fall though. I spend the winter and summer months plotting and planning my next great garden or landscape project for spring or fall. It is a never ending cycle, but I do actually finish all my projects.

My little nephew said that he thinks I’m trying to create my own paradise. He’s right!
