I grew up gardening with my dad, and at age 14 started my own herb garden that expanded with each year. For the past 13 years, I have been living without so much as a bit of earth, but all that changed when we bought our first home last year. This is our first summer gardening in our new home, gardening purely organically, and gardening in a new zone and climate. It’s also pretty much my husband’s first foray into gardening at all. It’s interesting, and there is definitely a learning curve! This is the summer of trial and error, and we are learning a lot as we go. It’s all very exciting!
