I was a reluctant gardener to begin with but the moment I put my first heap of manure into my first raised garden bed, I was hooked for life. All year round I long to be out digging, planting, weeding, grooming…. My favorite garden task is deadheading.
Luckily living up here in New England I get an enforced resting period from October to April. All I can do then is dream!
