I’m an accidental gardener, can’t help but try and grow stuff. I try and be a bit organic and a bit good with composting and things but I usually fall fairly short!
I like growing herbs best, mainly for cooking though I am experimenting with aromatherapy type things (not quite growing enough to make my own essential oils – not even the mint’s taken over that much!)
My favourite style of garden has to be the English cottage garden, lots of flowers crowding out the weeds! (Well, that’s my theory).
Anyway, my own garden at the moment is a lot of pots (and a bath!) out in a backyard, had to leave my last balconey garden behind in Japan :(. There’s not many plants that I’ve managed to grow and keep growing as I keep moving – though I do leave some nice gardens behind me! I’m hoping to get a garden that’s a garden without pots eventually but luckily I’m getting paid to landscape and transform a friend’s garden and another friend and I are having fun putting her stamp on a garden she recently moved into!
