My garden and landscaping are eclectic at best. Didn’t garden much until I got married in 1994. My husband’s family is big on gardening, so he got me started. We’ve tried various things to keep the yard low-maintenance. I always start out with good intentions, but the weeds usually win by mid-summer. Things are getting better as I figure out what works to fill in and choke out the weeds. I’m trying Square Foot Gardening this year. It looks nice, but a few things are a little crowded. I’m taking notes & pictures to plan better next year. I love starting seeds indoors. My husband is trying to come up with a more attractive way to hang shop lights in our dining room.
