Blackberry 'Thornless Ouachita' Squash turning yellow (leaves)
We’ve had a wonderful harvest from our yellow squash plants and they continue to fruit, but a couple of them are looking yellow on the leaves and the large stem looks as though there is rot on one of them. Does anyone know what this could be?? I’ll try to get pictures later. Thanks!
PS – I just realized that this went under my blackberry planting. I thought that it actually was under my squash planting.

Yellow Squash Harvesting: Squash freezing
Well, I’ve frozen a couple of batches of squash in the last two weeks. We can only eat so much. We’ve also given a ton away. I’m glad that’s the case instead of the other way around. The only think I’m concerned about is one of the plants seems to have some rot and/or some mites eating around in it. The leaves are turning yellow, too. I’m going to have to check on that, but if anyone knows what the culprit could be – please drop me a line. Thanks!

Cucumber Harvesting: Time passes so quickly...
The cucumbers are coming in with a vengeance. I cannot keep up!
I guess that’s a great problem to have. Some are yellowing due to lots of rain and my lack of attention, lately. We will probably be making some freezer pickles soon. I have to find something to do with them. They are overtaking my kitchen.

I pulled a couple of carrots and picked some cayenne and another squash. The season is getting underway. Tomatoes are getting bigger and cucumbers are about to come in abundance. I go out everyday to find more surprises waiting for me. So exciting.

Carrots Harvesting: We have some carrots
I picked a couple of carrots, today. They aren’t that big, due to my planting them in an old fountain tub, but they will do. The greens are so tall and some of them needed to be pulled. Hope they are good.

Yellow Squash Harvesting: First fruitings. Yay!
We were able to harvest a few squash from the plants this weekend. They are doing great with no problems and the fruitings look great. I can’t wait to cook them this week.
