Mondomuse's 2007 Patio garden

Created on Tuesday, 18 Sep 07

Patio view towards wooden fence. Golden bamboo, Argentinian fuchsia, heliotrope and camellia the featured plants here. “Traveling mojito bar” on wheels to serve up drinks for guests. Beegee the cat on the chaise. The camellia surprised me and bloomed early this year. One 20 watt floodlight provides the illumination for this evening view.

See the full sun plantings for this patio garden here.

Wondering if you hydrangea might be “Romance”, sometimes also listed as “You Me Romance”. They are fairly new and from Japan.

Thanks Iechris for your suggestion. It does not seem to be the same variety you suggest, but I did find a Romance hydrangea available at Thompson & Hunter; very cool looking, unique, beautiful; would like to find some of these here in the states. Nice gardening blog you have btw.
