This was the first garden that we put in after moving into the house. It’s positioned against the south wall of the garage and consists of four one-foot high berms for an approximate total of 90 square feet of bed space.

I’ve been meaning to put frames on the berms in order to convert them to raised beds, but the current arrangement is working out pretty well. Lettuces grow nicely on the north sides of the berm, while I’ve had good luck with flowers, radishes, and cabbage on the south sides.
