Tardis's Vegetable garden
Progress Journal (17)My vegetable garden is my favourite. It is located in the side yard on the south side of my house. I use square foot techniques for most of it, and it produces lots of fabulous food.
There are 4 main beds:
1. Long bed – 25×4 feet.
2. Hose bed – 4×11 feet, against the house, under the tap.
3. Grape bed – 4×10 feet – also against the house. Has permanent plantings of a grape vine, strawberries and rhubarb.
4. Fence bed – 8×4 feet.
There are also two small beds that contain ornamentals (lavendar and rudbeckia) and a 4×4 herb bed in the middle of the adjacent patio.
