Chzplz's Backyard - east bed garden
Progress Journal (6)In 2006 I bought a house that had a tiny little backyard, a rock wall backfilled with gravel, a patch of weeds where the microscopic lawn should be, and one huge hosta. In late 2007 I put in a new fence, an interlocking stone patio that covered most of the yard, and planting beds around the perimeter.
This is the new eastern bed, which gets the most sun, but is shaded by the fence in the early morning.
