Chzplz's Backyard - south bed garden

In 2006 I bought a house that had a tiny little backyard, a rock wall backfilled with gravel, a patch of weeds where the microscopic lawn should be, and one huge hosta. In late 2007 I put in a new fence, an interlocking stone patio that covered most of the yard, and planting beds around the perimeter. This is the south bed, which is shaded by the house.
