Isabelbrinck's Container Flower (indoor/balcony) garden
It started a few ways: with the kalanchoe I took home from a conference I worked at, that almost died but was “magically” revived when my dad discovered that pushing leaves into the soil made it grown; with a herb kit someone gave me for Christmas; and with a Candy Wind hibiscus that has kept me busy trying to keep it flourishing. I should also mention an Orchid I killed (accidentally!) which added to my desire to learn more and avoid similar mistakes in the future.
I have now added a second kalanchoe (kept from the summer batch bought for my balcony planters last year); an olive plant (gift from plant-watering next-door neighbour); and a cyclamen for my office. I had some sundials on my balcony last summer, but didn’t attempt to bring any in for the winter. I’m seeing if I can save those tulips you see there for another year.
Oh! And I almost forgot my 2 dracaenas, I guess because they are separate from the other plants (and not flowers, of course).
