Ceae's Foundation - Backyard garden
The foundation planting bed that runs along of the back of the house was created solely because we needed somewhere to dump the dirt we dug out from the side of the house to install a stone path leading into the backyard . Last August, in an attempt to green it up a few days before a big backyard party, I filled it full of annuals and lamb ears and in September, I packed it full of tulip bulbs. Well, this year the tulips bloomed spectacularly, the annuals are long gone and the lambs ears have completely taken over the bed. Other than ripping out at least half the lambs ears, I’m not sure where to go with it … it’s definitely a work in progress.
