Alan's container garden
As an apartment dweller, I need to resort to growing things in containers. I only grow vegetables, primarily peppers and tomatoes, and herbs for my own use. As much a hobby as it is a source of good, fresh vegetables. I like to experiment with different plants, container sizes, mixes, just for the fun of it.
I use pots ranging from 4" to 14" and a few 5 gallon buckets for tomatoes. Trying to get away from non-organic fertilizers and potting mixes, but generally go for inexpensive items that work well for my purposes.
