Tanya Shar's Vegie garden
Another organic-as-possible vegie garden :)
Shar has dismantled the cubby house and we’re going to use the wood panels to build up part of the backyard into a no-dig/square-foot-garden amongst the fruit trees that we planted in early August.
We get a fair bit of frost over winter up here compared to the rest of Greater Melbourne, more than the surrounding BOM weather sites would reveal as we are in a valley. We’ve been told that it’s icily cold coming though this area comparatively. We have some greenhouse plastic to use, but are yet to construct it into a useful form (ideas are bubbling madly for this one!)
We’re also going to grow in pots on our voluptuous veranda and balcony. Mmmm…sexy vegies out the windows! What else could one want? Please see “Mountain View” garden for these.
