Luvlymish's Seahorses Garden in the Sun and Shade garden

Stepping out of my kitchen door you’re in a narrow and shadey spot between the house and the wall, against the wall I have my rocky fernery and a bit further along a narrow planter for mint. Currently I’ve got three types of mint in there but I’m hoping for a couple more.
Once you get past the mint planter then the narrow alley turns to the right around the house and leads you to the barbeque, beyond which is another planter full of bulbs… really must put something else in there for the rest of the year.
In front of you though, byond the mint are a couple of steps that lead up into the backyard proper. On the right is a bathtub full of herbs! (Rosemary, thyme, lavender, chives and parsley at the last count) Directly in front are a couple of showerdoors that will one day become a cold frame and beyond that a little plastic greenhouse. Along the backwall are tubs of some very random plants trying to obscure the bins and in the back corner my compost heap (yes, some of my very own compost filled that bath! Oh the organic pride). The final wall is over grown with ivy that needs to be cut back and I really must get those solar fairy lights up in amongst the ivy there. The ivy also obscures the final few tubs and the sole rose (which is looking a bit worse for wear) that I have in this garden. Eventually I intend for there to be a raised bed along this wall containing a few bits and pieces of veg companion planted (I admit primarily because I like flowers rather than for it’s benefits) with flowers.
