Murray
Murray's The River Garden (front yard) garden

Created on Wednesday, 05 Dec 07

This is the garden in my front yard bordering the river that runs past my place. It was the first vege garden I started and is now an intensive food producing area. I use organic, no-dig techniques. Every year I add home brewed compost and lots of barley straw to build up the soil.
Currently this area supports tomatos, strawberries, garlic, rubarb, potatoes, yams, silverbeet, zuchini, gourds, lettuce, and pumpkin.
