Day 137 Jan26
Pea 'Progress 9' Result!
I’ve actually managed to grow an actual, real life pea. Amazing! Had a taste, and wasn’t great (okay, not great). I guess thats probably due to the fact that the growing time as quite long? I’m not too concerned however – this was more of an experiment than anything, and I’m happy with the result.
I’m definitely going to plant more of these in spring.

Day 133 Jan22
Pea 'Progress 9' Peas almost ready to eat?
They look like they are almost big enough to eat – but they have been growing for so long (due to the fact that I decided to plant entirely out of season, possibly) that I’m not sure how they will taste – or even if they are edible, really for that matter.
Still, they have done much better than the last attempt, so I must be doing something right this time – I would say its partly due to me not overcrowding the pot like last time and due to the weather being much milder during its initial growth. Just a guess, anyway.

Day 94 Dec14
Pea 'Progress 9' The Progress 9's Progress
The peas are starting to fill out now – I’ve got about 6 or 7 pods growing now. I only planted 4 seeds, as I was treating this is more of a test that anything – 3 plants ended up sprouting so now I kinda wished that I’d planted some more…they are taking aaaages to get to full size though – I guess that would be because I planted them so late in the season?

Day 70 Nov20
Pea 'Progress 9' Yay! Its a Pea!
Woohoo, there are now some nice looking peas out there. Well, pea pods at least – they are looking a bit flat at the moment. At this stage, I think I’ll settle for anything as long as it tastes like a pea, maybe they will be okay in a stirfry or something :/

Spinach 'Merlo Nero' What could be causing this?
Some of the leaves on my spinach seem to be going all wilty – its not all of the leaves though..what could be causing this? It doesn’t seem to be developing any edible looking leaves lately either.
