Well, they definitely have my vote!
Its been yet another week with my Hammacher Schlemmer upside-down mater planter and the plants have doubled in size since last week. The thing came with an unconditional warranty. If anything goes wrong or if it doesn’t work I get my money back and they pay for the shipping. It doesn’t look like they will be getting it back. It seems like everyday I look at this thing and say Holy Cow! I can’t wait to see what the yield is going to be on these. Check out the difference from last week’s journal of their progress: http://myfolia.com/journals/14673 The tomatoes definitely love it. I read somewhere that you can do peppers upside-down also, so, next year I plan to have maters, bell peppers, jalapenos and banana peppers upside down. I’m actually debating buying a second planter and framing my patio doors with the two planters.
Also, I have a huge banana pepper! They have a ton of flowers and a bunch of smaller peppers, but one really big one…. I guess it wanted to get eaten first!!!
