was wondering if anyone could identify this plant

this plant was growing in my mothers flower bed she could not tell me what it was not sure if it gets flowers it does not have any yet but this year has been a bit backwards any help would be appreciated, the second foto shows the flowers and it is blooming now started about a week ago

sorry i dont have very good pics but i am pretty sure its not a columbine either, the stems are purple and the flowers white gets 3-4 feet tall it is blooming right now started last week its a nice plant non invasive but tall i planted it at the front but am going to move it this fall to near the back since it gets tall
