Meighan Fruiting: First Raspberries of the Season!

The fruit on my volunteer raspberry bush are starting to ripen! I have to thank the honey bees for this, as they were the major pollinators of this bush. When it was blooming it was just covered in honey bees, which was a very nice sight to see since honey bees are sadly becoming quite rare.

    I was pretty surprised too, but I think they must be an extra early variety. The nice weather we’ve had the last couple of days have pushed them over the edge from yellow to ripe red.
