paul_massey Budding: looking established

Tuesday, 08 Jul 08 (posted about 6 months ago)

The youg tree is now settling in to its new home. It flowered a few weeks ago, about 5 blooms. none held onto the plant and made seed, which was expected at this stage of its life. The planting site has become more protected since the Madre de Cacao trees (Gliricidia sepium) have sprouted and provide some shade and wind break. Yet, this hibiscus tree is not yet growing vigorously.
