Not dead yet

I double checked my fresno? pepper this morning. We staked it in the middle of the night, so I had no idea what condition it was in. It looks like the tomato did not crush it to death. There was a hole left by the stem in the ground, and it was clear that the entire plant fell over, root and all, rather than snapping somewhere. I filled the hole back in with dirt.
