Rustling in the undergrowth
Something’s afoot in the People’s Republic, I would not say that the people were restless, more excited, which was pretty inexplicable given the rain we have had recently. Quite a few of the figures had fallen over, and I had put that down to snail damage.
Today I was greeted with this.
It has all the hallmarks of my daughter’s doing.
I can’t think what they will be racing though, unless it is snails, or spiders. DD does not like snails, so she’s hardly going to encourage that is she? I can’t see the people going anywhere very fast, they’re petrified (but of what, I don’t know). I do hope she is not planning to tie rockets to them.
I ought to look for some sparklers for a proper opening ceremony, but I fear we used all of ours up last November the 5th (Guy Fawks day – our bonfire night).
I include another picture of the Bunlett, up to no good, just to give you some idea of what I am up against.
Be afraid, be very afraid. In fact, perhaps it is best to be petrified after all.
