Have we really only got three chickens?

Our girls have been providing us with 3 – 4 eggs daily, with weights in the high 50 and low 60 grams. This is way beyond the average figures for the breed. Today one of the eggs weighed in at a whopping 72 gm (2.54 oz). Maybe this was their way of thanking us for letting them have free roam (under supervision) of the veggie patch a couple of days ago.
