Fruiting: Delicata Squash
Finally, after seeing only male flowers all winter, a female flower finally made its appearance, got pollinated, and set fruit.
I will have at least one squash!

The only problem is – our frost date is in 52 dates, and because of the altitude I’m at (town is on the side of the mountain and we’re up it) I’m worried that it might even be a bit sooner.

Me too! I’m betting I’ll get at least one, two, maybe not. Now if I can keep the slugs away from this one I’ll be good – I need to save seed this year otherwise I won’t be able to grow any next year!
