Growing strong
This guy is surging along! I didn’t plant this one as deep as the other seedlings and I’m wondering if that’s why he’s so much taller and has so many more leaves? Or else perhaps ‘Mortgage Lifter’ is just a vigorous-growing variety, as implied by the fact that so far out of all the tomato seeds I sowed, only ‘Mortgage Lifter’ has showed up yet.
I need to get these seedlings into their new homes soon, I am well aware. It just requires a bit of re-arranging (finding new homes for the silverbeet, waiting to see if the broad beans will EVER PRODUCE ANYTHING!) and adding more compost to the main bed.

LOL – be careful what you say about broad beans… Most people I know who have said something similar have very shortly thereafter disappeared under an avalanche of broad beans.
