ceae Sunflowers & Goo-urds!

Because they were planted so late, the sunflowers have only grown about 4 feet high, but they did all flower … which is really all that matters to the kids!

The pumpkin-gourd patch is growing great with a countless assortment of various little squash. Jaden’s SK class has been talking about pumpkins and gourds and he insists that there are both gourds (“the straight ones”) AND goo-ourds (“the other ones”). What that means, I haven’t the slightest, but he’s very pleased that we are growing both!!!
