hstupno Dying Down: Last Flowers & The CAT!

Saturday, 11 Oct 08 (posted about 1 months ago) Sunny 13°C / 55°F Happy

This bush is still sending up some lovely little flowers. Along with one bloom from one of my David Austin bushes, I cut some to put in a vase. As I was cutting them, my cat Lexie, decided she’s help herself! She’s VERY bad at eating my flower, especially roses. I put the vase in a spot I thought she’d leave alone, but later in the evening, she threw up some lovely green leaves. Bad kitty…pretty flowers! LOL

A rose eating cat?! That’s hysterical! ROTFL

The cats in our townhouse complex used to eat entire blades of my lemongrass.

My cat will eat any flower that is red or scented, but occasionally she experiments with other flowers – I’ve more or less given up on posies. As to the Winter Garden, plants like the coffee bush have to be barricaded in with other less attractive plants and at one stage I had most of them in hanging baskets – now I have some just too big to hang.
