'Cultivating the weather' Snow

It started snowing last night, fine snow like a dense drizzle so there is only an inch or so this morning. I wish we had as many words for snow as the Innuit or the Brits have for rain. Snow is forecast for the next couple of days, but as the forecast seems to change from hour to hour, we will see.

Later: We now have a heavy snow warning with 30cm (roughly a foot) by the weekend, and/or freezing rain. Duh. Warm front stalled over freezing layer. Snowing steadily all day, fine snow but certainly beginning to look alpine out there now.
