FINALLY A NON RAINY DAY TO WORK OUTSIDE
It was almost 70 today in PDX and I was outside the minute the sun came up with my coffee and my 2 chows…my little garden helpers!!
Got a lot accomplished including sorting a lot of old pots to be recycled as well as potting up my nasturtium seeds. I like to use 2 gallon black pots for the nasturtiums and tuck them in bare spots over the summer when I need a spot of color. I planted 18 pots!
The images show some of the fun visitors I had today. THe spider matched the euphorbia blooms perfectly. I didnt’ even know he was there until he moved. Meg is one of my chows and loves her new front yard mats…“chess anyone”!!!
The stellar Jay loves the dried corn on the cob and picks off all the kernels in 2 or 3 visits. THe chickadee was watching her babies feed at the feeder in my species Japanese maple. This tree is about 25 feet tall now and in full bloom. Made for a colorfu picture
