Day 83

flight Flight's E-Z Pick French Green Bean
Phaseolus vulgaris

Arguably our best-tasting bush bean, fresh or frozen.Blue Lake quality with a sturdy, upright, lodge-tolerant plant. Beans are dark green, 5 1/2-6” long and exceptionally easy to harvest. We lost this beautiful variety in 1993 when the originator was sold to a big company that dropped it. Seeds are now from our own production. White seeds.

It’s really great that you’ve been saving seeds of this variety for so long! Especially for beans—I love bush beans. :) I’m just starting to get into seed saving (I’m starting with podding radishes).
