"Vine" Tomato Twin Potting Up: Applying CPR

    Sunny 18°C / 64°F

I received these guys in poor shape. The big one had a few aphids on him, that I promptly picked off. Next I soaked the root ball and, as the roots had grown a great deal outside the pot, I cut the pot to get the root ball out. Once out, I carefully potted up the plant, making sure to get the roots spread out in the bottom. I could not separate the seedling safely, so I decided to grow this pair together on the sunny balcony (once they pass quarantine).

As this plant is from someone else’s care, I have quarantined it on the shady balcony for a couple days. Less light but no chance of spreading anything to any of the others.
