Well, that’s it for the potatoes! I harvested the last of them, and cooked a bunch of them up in mashed potatoes and they were delicious!

There’s always something so good about mashed potatoes. It’s the side dish of the gods.

Until next year little potatoes!

I would like to grow some purple varieties next year, but finding a place that has them within Canada is almost impossible, and because of import laws, I can’t just order them from the States.

What’s a girl to do?

I guess just hope and pray that the greenhouse will have a purple variety next year.

Harvested 2 of the 5 plants yesterday. I got a good amount for planting them so late I think.

(Finally) finished mounding the potatoes today.

A little journal entry for a growth update. These guys are now all 6-8" high and need to be mounded.

Here they come, let the mounding commence (when it’s time that is).

Currently there’s two that have broken ground, but I see bumps in the dirt where more are coming.
