My eggplants and capsicums have been attacked by aphids and those pesky ants that protect them. I have sprayed with a garlic and oil solution, but might try a soapy solution I saw in a magazine. The second lot of fruit, though smaller is still growing and I picked one yesterday and it was yummy!

So delicious! This is one of the easiest vegetables I have grown…except maybe lettuces. No diseases and I think there was some spider mite rasping at the leaves but did not affect the fruiting.

Can’t believe how many eggplants there are. I think one is almost ready to harvest and gobble down.

Can’t get over how fast these eggplants are growing in size!

Survived the two 40C days and now fruiting wonderfully.
