Strawberry Dying: Verticillium
It was side by side with the yellow rose, and one of them was infected (or maybe the soil) with verticillium. I’ll trash it really soon.

Strawberry Black leaves
As of later, my (big) strawberry keeps showing black-brown leaves. They start to turn black from the outside, then dry up. Has anyone a similar problem? It has been side by side for a few months with a black-spotted rose (which is almost dead by now, no leaves). Could it be black spot? I don’t think so as they look different diseases (if it is). Today I cut back all “suspecting” leaves, but would like to know what it is. Thanks!
ANSWER: I’ve found (Google… so easy!) it is verticillium. My rose didn’t have black spot but verticillium. Luckily no other infectable plants were near these two. Today I’ll trash both rose, strawberry and thoroughly disinfect the pots. What a shame!
