Minowase Radish Harvesting: One big one small
Today we pulled two daikon radishes, one big and one small. The big one feels quite heavy. We sliced them and cooked them with some dried scallops.

Minowase Radish Popping up
They are really getting big, and popping up the soil. I will pull one or two this week, when my mother is in town.

Minowase Radish I can see the roots
When I pushed the leaves aside, I can see a little bit of root sticking out of the soil. It is about 2cm in diameter, so not quite ready. I wonder if I need to pile some soil around it to keep the root underground, though.

The seedlings are sporting true leaves. Some are not standing straight, though. I suspect cat malice.
