I accomplished my goal of moving one of the gerbera daisy plants inside. Both of the plants had little flowers on it, so that’s good news. The one plant that I left outside had really gotten quite large. It would not have been suitable for bringing inside. Hopefully the one plant that I did bring in will do well. I should probably give it some fertilizer this week.

I had thought I could pot this plant up and bring it into the house for the winter, but now I’m not sure if I can do that. I have a few more plants that I have to tend to first. We’ll see!

Every time I got out my back door I am greeted by my two gerbera daisy plants in their containers. How pretty they are! I can’t wait to repot them when the fall comes so I can bring them into the house. I think they are hardy enough now to do that.
