After I moved the Dahlia into it’s own pot, it started to take a turn for the worse. No, scratch that, I remember that the plants was getting sort of bushy, with no more flowers, so I cut it back rather drastically. I don’t think I took much care in doing it, so I think the plant went into shock. I continued watering it for a while, but then eventually pulled it up.

Things to know for next time:

1. Dahlia’s (at least this one) spread, so I should have put it in it’s own pot to begin with.

2. Be a little more gentle when cutting flowers back.
