Hosta planting Moved: Moved the hosta and planted them in the ground
I finally planted the hostas in the ground! Let’s see if the few weeks we have of fall will be enough for them to take root. I would love it if they would grow back after the winter!

Hosta planting Time to move the hosta?
I know I posted about this before, but I think now is really the time to move the hosta plant. It is doing so well in its pot, but I would like to give it a chance to grow a bit in the ground before the frost kills it. I know that in just a few short days it will be September, and then time constraints may prevent me from moving it, so I have to get it done soon.

Hosta planting Moving the hosta?
I’m just about ready to move the hosta plant. I had been given this plant by a friend, and because when I got it it was in sad shape because it had sat in my car all day, I thought I should give it a chance in a container garden first. Well, I’m happy to say that it is growing well, and little hosta babies have grown in the pot as well. I have a spot right next to our driveway that I think is looking for a hosta. The grace doesn’t grow there anyway. I’d like to give the hosta some good time to get situated in the ground before winter, so the time is approaching when I should move it!
