Planting Oaks's Lupine

After a few weeks of putting out a new leaf every day, only to have it shrivel and wilt away, the lupine has stopped trying.

It has been wikedly hot here, and there weren’t a lot of roots on it. The soil did stay moist, so I don’t think water was the problem. Just a victim of being transplanted in the heat I guess.

I still have some hope that it will come back, maybe in the fall or next year, but not a lot.
