Tigerella Flowering: Tied up
Flower buds & tied up with rags to the fence to prevent it flopping. Lots of laterals growing, but I think I’m going to leave them.
I love trellising tomatoes and being surrounded by the rich, green, incredibly distinctive tomato leaf fragrance. Can’t wait til trellising leads into flowering leads into fruitset leads into harvesting… oh, man. I really can’t wait.

Tigerella Progress shot
Coming along nicely. Planted much deeper than ‘Mortgage Lifter’ when I transplanted, so not nearly as tall, but throwing off plenty of leaves and looking quite strong.

Tigerella Transplanted
Planted deep, up to the top set of leaves, with a sawn-off juice bottle on top to try to trap some additional warmth in.
