Iechris's Lily 'Stargazer'

Sure, I planted 7 Stargazer bulbs earlier this month, but after my other lily bulb experience from last year (they are just now making an appearence a year after they were planted), I decided to hedge my bets and add a already podded up Stargazer. This is planted in the left hand side of the perennial bed, near the Joe Pye Weed.

The idea is that now while it is up and ready to bloom the Joe Pye Weed is just starting to come up, so the lily takes center stage. Once the lily is done blooming, the Joe Pye Weed will grow up and eventually mostly hide the dying lily foliage.
