Day 209

flowerlady Flowerlady's ligularia
Ligularia

well my daughter bought this one it is more of a waterside plant or bog plant and i do not have a water feature, i do however have a creek that runs through our property but i saw a snake down there and have’nt been there since, when i discovered some small starts growing around the mother plant i potted them up and made a bog garden for them i used an old steel tub that had a few rust holes in the bottom then i put bricks in it and covered the bricks with a green garbage bag i set the potted plants on the bricks and fill the tub with water this keeps them happy in the winter i planted the baby ligularia’s pot and all into my everything grows garden and this spring i dug them up and put back in their bog garden they are doing nicely getting bigger i have to keep the mother plants watered well which has not been too hard so far since i think it has rained for the last 2 weeks almost every day or it sure seems like it has.
