These purple asters were just gorgeous when I planted them a couple of weeks ahead of my sister in law’s wedding. Two shades of purple, compact little dark foliaged plants…. As I knew they would, they grew like Jack’s beanstalk, dwarfing everything else in this skinny little garden, looking ungainly…. weedy…. They need to be moved! In the right space they will again be loved.
