Do separate it as it doesn’t like too much Sun or dry soil… and that way you can move it around independently until you find a good spot for it… there are also what they call “slow bolting” varieties that give you a little more wiggle room… I just throw some new seeds in the same container every few weeks to cover my but because I use Cilantro alot!
