A nearby hardware store was throwing out some cucumber starters because they looked unhealthy.I salvaged them and planted them in the backyard where they languished for a month or so and did very little. When I transplanted them to the sunnier front yard the plant started growing like crazy. The plant pictured yields a couple of cukes each week and shows no sighs of slowing down.
