Tonya Tonya's Russian garlic
Allium ampeloprasum var. ampeloprasum

Lisa’s friend Karen gave me 1 bulb (about 5 cloves) and approx 20 puplets of russian garlic which they grow in Atherton tablelands. Her advice was to plant at easter and harvest at Xmas. Takes approx 2 years to mature.
Neil’s advice was to plant 1 month before shortest day of the year and harvest in November. As he lives in Tathra his climate is much closer to Canberra climate so will try this next year.
