Annet's Cardinalflower
Lobelia cardinalis

I bought this to add some colour to the garden, and to cheer myself up after the tomatoes perished. I stuck about three big ones in a pot, and they looked very nice. It flowered right into autumn as well, this picture shows the last flower. I’m hoping for another nice show of colours next year. I just found out that it can probably handle a good amount of shade. That’s good, that leaves more room for tomatoes. You can tell where my priorities are ;)
